What I Learned
- The basic structure of an HTML page
- How domains connect to websites through DNS
- What Git and GitHub do
- How a static website can be published online
What I Did
Today I created the first version of LongHairLouie.com. I set up a GitHub repository, learned the basic workflow for saving code, and prepared the site for deployment to Cloudflare Pages.
The website is intentionally simple. It is a place to keep a clear record of what I learn, what I build, and what I can do.
Exercise
Completed today’s regular movement and exercise session.
Thoughts
Starting with a real project makes each new idea easier to understand. Instead of learning isolated facts, I can immediately use them to improve this website.
Tomorrow
- Build a simple HTML page from scratch
- Learn more about headings, paragraphs, links, and images
- Make the next journal entry
